Joshua Friddle Obituary

Joshua Martin Friddle

Joshua Martin Friddle, 22, left us on July 6, 2008. He was born December 4, 1985 in Everett, WA, to Martin B. Friddle and Lavonja L. Friddle. He was raised in Darrington, WA and graduated from Darrington High School in 2004.
Josh leaves behind his loving father, Marty (Deanna, Cody and Forrest); his much-loved brother, Justin Friddle; his loving girlfriend, Shelly Parris and her 'little man', Carston; grandparents, Sharon Allen and Francis Friddle (Elda); uncle, Kenny Friddle (Linda); cousins, Kegan and Kodie Friddle; aunt, Robin Engbrecht (Cordal); cousins, Kristin and Jordan Engbrecht; aunt, Dawn Nations (Steve); cousins, Zachary and Ethan Nations; aunt, Cheryl Regimbal; cousins, Michael and Brian Lay; aunt, Patricia Mason (Ron); cousins, Maurice and Junior Mason; roommates, Chris Ditgen, of Darrrington, WA; and Justin Flowers, of Arizona; as well as many other beloved family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lavonja Friddle; grandparents, Roy and Emma Jo Days; step-grandfather, Bob Allen; and cousin, Brandon Hooper Engbrecht.
Josh was a man of integrity, who strove for perfection in everything he tackled. It was an inspiration to observe his passion, dedication and accomplishments throughout his wrestling career. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike and quads, four wheeling with friends and forever shining his trucks.
Josh will be remembered for his "Wide Open" attitude to life, and that BIG mischievous smile that touched everyone around him.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 1272 SR 530 NE, Darrington, WA.

To the family & friends of Josh,

I am Justin Flowers mom. Justin, Lindsey and Josh stopped over Halloween evening 2007 dressed to go out and party.

I thought it would be nice to show a couple pictures of the trio from that evening.

This is Josh dressed as 'Joe Dirt'?

Here is a pic of the three of them:

Josh had quick witt and a great sense of humor.

I'll never forget Josh chasing me around my house trying to give me and a Hug & Kiss everytime he was over, and before he'd leave.

When he left Arizona to return to Washington, he, Justin and Lindsey came over for him to say good-bye. He caught me off guard and planted a great big kiss on top of my head.

He started laughing and said, "Ha ha! I got ya!" I'll never forget it.

It is with deepest heartfelt sympathy that I type this entry.

It is difficult to loose such a young person.

He will be forever remembered and there will be no way for our family to forget him... Josh and Justin were born on the same day, 12/4.

If for some reason the photo links I have posted cannot be viewed, please contact me via email at [email protected] and I'll be more than happy to forward them to you in email.

We are so sorry for your loss. We are so blessed to have known Josh for many many years. When he sort of lived with us, he brought us nothing but laughter and happiness. We will always remember when Josh would tell us to fill in our pot holes so it wouldn't get his truck dirty when he came in the driveway! Then he even offered to fill the holes in! We would just shake our heads and tell him either to go slow or park on the side of the road. He was such a loving person, always playing with our son Cooper when he came over. We cannot find the words to express our sorrows, but just know that he touched many and that smile of his with those bright blue eyes will be burned in our hearts forever.

Dear Friddle Family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Josh was just a little guy when I seen him last. He use to play at Lee Fenley & Cheryl Regimal's place with my son, Paul and with his cousins - Michael & Bryan Lay. He was such a sweet soul. I can't possible imagine the pain you are feeling right now. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Marty and Justin,
We are so very sorry for your loss. It is so very hard to have a child taken from you at such a young age. You and Robin can be a comfort to each, as you two are the only ones who understand.
We are lifting you up in prayer as are many in our church family. Prayer can have a very healing effect, in time. Just know you are being lifted up daily.

Dear Marty, Justin, Sharon and all your Family,

We are so sorry to hear about Joshua. I know your hearts are breaking. We would like to offer any support and prayers that we can. Marty you did a very good job raising your son. When ever I talked to him, I could tell that he was a good person. You can be proud of that. Marty you are a good man, who I am proud to call my nephew. Justin I can't begin to know how you feel. As your uncle, I would like to help in anyway I can. I will never forget the "big truck" that Joshua built. Also I was very proud reading about him and you in the news paper, going to the state wrestling finals in Tacoma Dome. Sharon I am here for you, call anytime you need. I know you are heart sick. My family will be praying for Joshua and to ease your pain. We will there Saturaday.
