My name is Greta Brewington, I have known Josh since 2008. I considered him my very Best Friend , my sons looked to him like an uncle. He was the most LOYAL and HONEST person that I ever had the privilege of knowing other than my Father,even on a bad day he was still polite,and kind. My family and I have been Blessed to know him,and honored to have him as my friend . I received a phone call a few days before he passed , we were making plans to hang out since it had been a while,he told me he Loved and Missed me and our extended family of mutual friends....I will cherish that conversation for ETERNITY !!!! REST WITH THE ANGELS MY FRIEND, LOVE & REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS.. GRETA BREWINGTON &SONS

Though I didn't spend a lot of time with Josh I do remember his beautiful smile and fun nature. He was lost to this world far too soon and will be deeply missed. Cathy, while there are no words to relieve your pain I hope when you close your eyes you see that smile and remember all the best times.

I have so many wonderful and fun memories of young Josh and Cathy visiting us so many times while we built our first house. Josh and Topher played for hours in the woods. We loved our trips to Chelan and Josh's big wonderful smile will always be in my memory. Josh, I know you probably have met Stan on the other side, sharing stories and laughing along with your Grandpa.
You will be forever missed and forever in our hearts. Your spirit is still alive inside us. Your wonderful mom is one of my dearest friends and I will always try to help her and comfort her through her greatest loss. We will all be together again someday because we share love for each other. I see you boys setting your lines and fishing the waters of eternity.
May your light shine brightly.

I've read this obituary more than a dozen times and I still don't want to believe it. When I close my eyes I see Josh leaning against the counter in grandma's kitchen, arms crossed, bushy mustache, smiling and laughing while delivering subtle jabs at his uncle's expense. He was always a calm and gentle presence, one that is missed deeply. Aunt Cathy, my heart breaks for you. May he live in our thoughts, our hearts, and in beautiful Maxx. I love you.

There is really little one can say when someone with so much more life left this earth too soon. I never met him, but knowing his mom like I do, I know he was one of the very best people on earth. Now he soars in the skies, keeping a watchful eye on those who loved him the closest, his family. The only thing I can say is that i do hope all of the wonderful memories you have of him will surround you and help through this time of grief.

Our family has experienced a great loss with Joshs' death. He was his mother's son and only child, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin and a father.
He was a really neat guy who had a wonderful smile. His sense of humor could infect everyone around him. Fishing will be forever changed without him on the boat eating everything in the lunch box and laughing at all of us trying to catch a salmon. He left us way too early but he is hanging out with dad (his grandpa) where there are no punch cards, limits or closures. My mother, brothers and I grieve for our sister and will mourn the loss of a great young man.

Shelli and I are so very sorry for the loss of your son Cathy. Joshua was a good guy and my fishing buddy. The memories keep coming up, and they're all good! He loved to fish with me and I can't believe he won't be around for next halibut and salmon seasons. He was so looking forward to it. Now he is in a better place, fishing every day with Dad. RIP Josh.

Shelli and I are so sorry, Cathy. Joshua was one of my fishing buddies, and oh could he fish! He was so looking forward to this next season of halibut and salmon. Our memories will never be forgotten. Ever. It's so unbelievable that he is gone now. He is in a better place, with Dad, fishing every day! RIP Josh

Josh was a delightful boy in my third grade class at Meadowdale Elementary, room 8. I remember him as a shy guy with a good sense of humor. I remember his quick wit and laugh. He excelled in creative writing. He was an absolute joy to teach! And Cathy I remember you very well, too. I am unbelievably sad. Josh and my son Brent were about the same age.

RIP Josh! My dad called and told me the news about his death and I still can't believe it. Seems like yesterday we were runnin' around Grandma and Grandpa's house as kids. Josh was a good guy, sad that he is gone so soon. Cathy, I hope you are holding up as well as can be expected. Take care!
