Joyce Meier

1948 - 2025

Joyce Ann Meier of Lake Stevens, WA, passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 76.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Polly and Clarence Meier. She is survived by her sister, Marilynn (the late Bob) Schoknecht; daughter, Stephanie (Jay) DeNoma; son, Keith (Megan) Eidson; and grandchildren, Olivia, Holly, Keith Jr., and Gavin.

Joyce loved spending her days enjoying one of her many hobbies. She loved to cook, bake, and garden. She created holiday traditions with her grandchildren by baking cookies and sweet treats each Christmas. A lover of music and the arts, she attended many plays and concerts and was known to get up and dance wherever she was if a song she loved came on. She enjoyed life to the fullest-never passing up a good time with family and friends-and was known to raise a glass (especially a good tequila shot!). She had a big heart, full of love for her family, friends, sweet golden retrievers, and community. She was giving and supportive, always happy to volunteer her time, most recently at the food bank, guild, and hospital gift shop.

She will be dearly missed by all who loved her and had the chance to know her. Her bright smile, warm laugh, and tight hugs will never be forgotten, and forever cherished.

A celebration of her life will be held on January 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at The Mill, 1808 Main Street, in downtown Lake Stevens, where family and friends will come together in good company to share stories, laughter, and love as we honor her memory.
