I first met Julie at Jackson ES, as a volunteer. Julie loved children and always wanted to help children succeed in school. I will always remember her smile and her love for walking. We will miss her at Jackson.
Our thoughts and prayers to you and the family at this time.

We are so sorry to hear of Julie's passing. She was a delightful person. Our first memories of her are from Little League baseball games. She was such a supporter and encourager to all of the kids. After she retired she volunteered in the classroom next to mine at Jackson Elementary so again I enjoyed seeing her cheery smile and having warm conversations...most commonly about the latest family happenings. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

Julie was a very fun lady. I remember the Christmas parties at their house and camping at Fort Casey on Whidbey Island. Julie also supported my family when my sister and I were small. When my mother had to work early before it was time for school, the Reis family made us a part of their family in the mornings by allowing us to come over for breakfast.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our thoughts and prayers go to the family of such a wonderful lady. It was a privilege to work with Julie as we taught so many children. She taught us a few things, too. She was always there with a smile and a heartfelt hug that we will miss dearly.
God is welcoming one of the best.

I met Julie while teaching at Madison Elementary many years ago. The thing that stands out in my mind about her was the caring and compassion she showed to others. My father died during that time and Julie was the one who would come into my room to ask me about how I was doing with the process and just showed lots of genuine understanding and love. She was a wonderful lady and I grew to really admire and respect the person she was. She was also a hard worker who took her job very seriously. I have never forgotten her wonderful ways even though I haven't seen her in several years. I learned lots from her and consider my life richer for it. You are in my prayers. Remember the wonderful memories and may God sustain you through this difficult time.

Joe, Bev, Steve, Betty Lou and family,
I first met Julie when I was a little girl at church so it seems like I have always known her as a friend of my mother's. She was so unselfish and caring to everyone in her nursing role and in the schools. Julie taught my son Tyler to read at Madison Elementary School. It was after that that she appeared at some of his baseball games and baked him one of her famous home run apple pies. May your memories of a perfectly wonderful lady comfort you. You are in our prayers.

We are sorry for your loss. Julie was a wonderful neighbor and we always enjoyed talking to her when she came by our house on one of her walks.

Julie was just a wonderful person, she was so unselfish with her time. She spent every waking minute looking for ways to support, help and bring laughter to all she came into contact with. I especially appreciate how she helped our family after our two sons were diagnosed with a degenerative blind disease, she had worked for many years in the Everett school district as an aid in the program for visually impaired and was able to put us into contact with people she knew could help us deal with all that was coming our way. She was the most supportive mother in-law to our Brother Mike and she was always finding ways to promote the dairy business and the hard work that Mike was doing each and every day at the farm. I know how hard it is to lose someone so special but the memories will keep her always in your hearts. Our love to you all.
