Karen Anderson Wolfe passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 6, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born November 16, 1948, in Tacoma Wa, to Harlen and Marge Anderson.
She was raised and lived her whole life in Lake Stevens and graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1967. She went on to have a successful 30 year career at GTE and 14 years at AT&T. Karen met and married Gary L. Wolfe on April 25, 1970 and were married 51 years when Gary passed away in 2021. Together they had 3 children and you would always find Karen & Gary on a football or baseball field or a basketball court, cheering on their children and mom was the loudest! Whether it was bluebirds/Campfire, PTA, sporting events, she was always there. Karen & Gary were very active in the Lake Stevens Kiwanis Club. She loved all the community events and giving back to the children in Lake Stevens. She loved serving beer during Aquafest so she could see all the kids all grown up.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Harlen & Marge Anderson, her husband, Gary L. Wolfe, and both sisters, Beverly Weiss and Linda Price. She will be deeply missed by her 3 children, Jeff Wolfe (Carla), Matt Wolfe (Michelle) and Nikki Crofutt, and grandchildren, whom she adored, Tyler Crofutt, Zachary Wolfe, Grace Wolfe, and Joshua Wolfe.
A memorial service is planned for May 24, 2025 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church at 1:00pm.

Aunt Karen. It such a shock to hear of your passing. Matt and family, Nikki and Tyler, so sorry for the loss of her. She was so dedicated to you all and her love for her family and friends was so much to be admired for. She certainly showed a great example of what it means to live a life of spreading love that God asks us to do. She is and will be so missed. I pray for peace and comfort to you all. Aunt Karen, may you rest in peace and see you again. Forever love and admiration.

I was saddened to hear of Karen's passing but I was also filled with life long memories! Having known Karen and her entire family almost my whole life there are just SO MANY years of friendship and shared experiences! I fondly remember our childhoods living on Lake Stevens as neighbors. We(Karen and Gary) shared years and years involved with youth sports and community activities. Karen and Gary could be counted on to support, volunteer and contribute to dozens of activities: If it said Lake Stevens on it- they were there! Extending my love to Everyone in the family. UNFORTUNATELY I will be unable to attend Karen's service: family commitment out of state- however I will have you ALL in my prayers on the 24th. Love you guys. Dave Hulbert
