Ken, my beloved son, the time was too soon for you to be gone. We never said goodbye without saying I love you. You were always there to help me when I called, when big issues concerning the house came up or silly stuff like the TV getting stuck on a station. You were so patient! Always on Mothers Day I would get a plant for the yard which I looked forward to. Most of all, I will just miss you and your kind soul. My heart is with you my son and I will think of you every day. Love Mom

i have been thinking about what I would write here for some time... and I've decide its really a message to those of us who cared about Ken, those of us left behind because he was clearly taken too soon. Gone sooo young...
One thing I have discovered over these past few weeks is never take those you cared about for granted. I guess I always thought I would see him again...
We would just "Run into each other some day and catch up"....
Pam, Cheryl, Lori, Mike, Lisa and Rebecca, you were all My family for a time...and I thank you for that.
I am soo very sorry for your loss. Can't imagine what you must be feeling.
And Ken I learned from you the love of cooking, good food, and wine, sharing with friends...my "fear" or now what I believe is a healthy caution of motorcycles...I'm pretty sure that came from you too!
Rest in peace my friend, and may your family find peace in your final rest. ~Love always

Kenny, you taught myself, and everyone you worked with, a tremendous amount about the landscape trade. You were one of the best and most patient teachers I have ever met. Anyone who knows you, knows you had a giant heart, and I'm positive you're resting in heaven. God Bless Brother!

"Ken, I cannot express the loss I feel knowing that you will not be in my life going forward. This event sadden's me very deeply knowing how happy you were to be a new grandfather. It is going to take me a long time to make the adjustment of losing you. I will make self available for Steven and his new family to lend suport and love as you would have wanted. I will try and fill the big shoes you left behind where ever I can. I love you very much Ken and you will be with me always." Your brother and friend.

Ken, you were always so much fun to be around. You were a great brother-in-law and a great dad. I am so glad you & Steven came to visit Mike & I. I had so much fun spending time with both of you going to the Biltmore House, Tallulah Gorge, Lake Hartwell, & playing golf! I will miss you!
