Larry Sharp Obituary

Larry slipped away peacefully at home in Snohomish on a Saturday morning just shy of turning 84, yet having helped with yardwork on Wednesday. He was born in September 1941 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, then moved across the river and raised his three boys in Omaha, Nebraska. There, he discovered his talent was in sales and received numerous national awards at North American Van Lines, and later in mattress sales locally. Larry treated everyone he met like a good friend. After moving to Snohomish County in 1988, Larry discovered new hobbies: mainly tennis and gardening, then bicycling, golfing and bowling. He married Leeann Anderson in 1990 and settled in Snohomish for the last 29 years, welcoming his mother-in-law Jean, nephew Brent, and various pets into the home. Larry was preceded in death by his four siblings. He is survived by his wife Leeann; sons by his first marriage, Kevin, Tim, and Tony, and their families in the Omaha area; and numerous nieces and nephews. Think of Larry and smile when you see a hawk circling overhead.
