Lawrence and his wife Doris were Grampa and Gramma Llewelyn to my 6 children, even though they were not related by birth. The wonderful encouragement and spiritural legacy they gave them will always be a part of their lives. My children are all grown adults now but still Lawrence's tragic death hurt. They are thankful that they have the resurrection hope to look forward to. Soon Gramma & Grampa Llewelyn will be with them again.
Our love and prayers are with the family.

Lawrence you will be missed. We met you outside Safeway when you were trying to lift four heavy grocery bags. Giving you a ride home with your groceries was the least we could do for a man who could obviously take care of himself. We only met you the one time but we love you very much. We enjoyed seeing you walk around town enjoying your independence.

I will miss seeing you walk down Avenue D daily. One Day, while I was leaving Bartell's in Snohomish, I heard you ask a young lady with a small child for a ride to McDonald's because your feet were tired. I felt so sorry that your feet were tired, and my heart went out to you. That young lady didn't know how proud I felt that she graciously helped you in her car and drove you down to McDonald's. She even asked you if you needed a ride home. My little boy who is 4 saw this. I coulnd't have taught him a better lesson in giving and helping than what he observed. God Bless your soul, Mr Llewellyn and I am so sorry you suffered in a terrible accident.
