Loren Greene Obituary

Loren Floyd Greene, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and faithful servant of God, passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior on September 11, 2025 at the age of 82. Loren was born April 16, 1943 in Okanagan, WA to Lucile and Floyd Greene. After Floyd passed away Lucile married Ray Sawyer who became dad to Loren and his siblings. Three more children were born to Lucile and Ray, completing the family. Loren's life was defined by courage, compassion and an unshakable faith in Jesus Christ. He graduated from Anacortes High School in 1962. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany from 1962 to 1965 before pursuing a long and successful career as a welder and member of the Pipefitters Union Local 26.

Loren is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marilynn; son Aaron; daughter Katherine; son-in-law Shawn, granddaughters Kaylee and Lexi; two brothers; three sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Known for his kindness, generosity and joyful spirit, Loren was admired by all who knew him. We will miss him dearly but we take comfort in knowing we will be with him again in eternity as believers in Christ.

A memorial service will be held in Loren's honor Saturday 10/25/25 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Evangel Church 9015 44th Dr NE Marysville for those that would like to attend.
