Mary Walsh Obituary
October 17, 2022
Mary Esther Walsh, 73, of Everett, WA passed away on October 17, 2022, after a battle with cancer. She was cared for by her three children in her final days.
She was born and raised in Seattle, graduating from Queen Anne High School. She worked at Seattle Pacific Univeristy before moving to Everett to start her family. Later, she received an associate's degree in accounting from Everett Community College. She used this to help manage her and her husbands' roofing company for several decades. Mary finished her working career at Tulalip Casino, where she was a keno runner for 15 years.
Mary spent her free time doing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, Clash of Clans, and Candy Crush. She enjoyed going to the casino to play the keno machines, stopping at businesses to tell them if they misspelled something on the sign, and reading Steven King books. She loved coffee.
Mary's home was always open to family who stopped by often to visit.
She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Walsh.
She is survived by her three children; Cynthia (Tom) Persons, Scott (Kimberely) Walsh, Douglas Walsh; six grandchildren Erik, Curtis, Abram, Isaiah, Kaylee and Austin; three siblings Richard, Robert and Diane; as well as numerous nieces nephews, and in-laws.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Park in Everett, the Lions Hall on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 12:30-2:00.

I miss you everyday Mary. You were my sister from first day we met. I miss our many years of phone chats, casinos, going to Outback (steak), Red Robin for fish & Chips and of course Buzz Inn for teriyaki steak. Rest In Peace Sister
