Max Hanks

Max Hanks passed away July 10, 2007, at the age of 79.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty; his sons, Ron Hanks, of Hotchkiss, CO, and Dean Hanks, of California; daughter, Debbie Gabutero (Jim), of Lynnwood, WA; grandson, Ryan Gabutero (Tamara); granddaughters, Rochelle Vinson (Steve), Sara Hanks, and Jennifer Hanks; three great-granddaughters; and his brother, Ted (Wren) Hanks, of Spokane, WA. He also leaves numerous nephews and nieces, all of whom had a great love and much respect for their uncle.
Max was born on February 15, 1928, in Puxico, MO. His family moved to Prosser, WA when he was an infant. He retired from Kraft Foods in 1990. He was a maintenance supervisor. He and his wife spent the next 12 years traveling to various building projects with Mission Church Builders. They relocated to Lynnwood, WA in November of 2003.
Services will be held at 3 p.m., July 15, 2007, at the Edmonds Seventh Day Adventist Church. Interment will be at the Tahoma National Cemetery. He will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives he touched.

Dear Betty, Deb, Jim, Ryan, Tamara, Roch, Steve..and family....our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this time of loss for Max who was special to each one of you in a different way....so thankful for the Bible truth about death as a sleep and the hope of a reunion with those we love when Jesus returns....love to you all Dan and Linda We feel blessed that we were able to be with him and have a great visit before we returned home to Hawaii...God is good.
