Nathan Long Obituary

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Nathan Edward Long of Edmonds, Washington at the age of 45. Nate struggled with heart defect issues his whole life and did not recover from his open-heart surgery on March 20, 2024. He is survived by daughter Trillian (Ollie), parents Clint and Theresa, brother Josh, sister Bridget, niece Rachel, nephew Jacob, grandfather Martin, uncles Ed, Tim, and Paul, aunts Akiko, Kathy, and Kay, cousins Jenny, Ashleigh, Raymon, and Travis, partner Malissia, sister-in-law Nichole, and chosen brothers Scott and Travis. Nathan, a graduate of Edmonds-Woodway high school (1997), developed a love for theater at an early age. Ghostbusters was his favorite (even visiting the Firehouse in NY). His sense of humor and ability to tell detailed and intriguing stories will be sorely missed by the Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Show and his D&D community. He was an Audio/Visual Engineer for Unity Church (16727 Alderwood Mall Parkway, Lynnwood, WA 98037) for several years and his Memorial Service will be held there on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 6:00pm. All who knew him are welcome. We have a GoFundMe available to those who wish to contribute to the memorial and Trillian's future: https://gofundme.com/f/natelongmemorial The world is significantly darker without his joyous laugh and infectious humor. We miss him more than words can say.
