Odell Lesley Jones

Odell Lesley Jones of Darrington, Washington died on November 2, 2008, at 83 years of age. Odell was a logger for most of his life working for Glen Rankin. He enjoyed fishing and blue grass music. Odell loved his family and will truly be missed by them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Genevia Jones; and by his son, Leslie Jones.
Odell is survived by his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Jones; brothers, Claude (Austine) Jones, of Darrington and Bill Jones, of Darrington; children, Juanita (Jay) Cyr, of Omak, Washington, Rick (Johanna) Jones, of Darrington, Doris (Jerry) Sherrill, of Darrington, Randy (Donna) Jones, of Darrington; and his Uncle Ellis and Aunt Genevia Nations, of Darrington. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, Emily Cyr, Krystal Varne, Kenny Cyr, Michelle Jones, Mike Jones, Tonya Jones, Kurtis Jones, Kevin Jones, Gerald Sherrill, Dennis Sherill, Kayla Sherrill, Amy Jones and Mark Jones; as well as nine great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 1 to 5 p.m., on Friday, November 7, 2008, at Weller Funeral Home in Arlington, Washington. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., on Saturday, November 8, in Darrington, Washington at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.
