I was sad to learn today of Paul's death. I was hoping to see him at our 50th reunion. On behalf of myself and the Santa Rosa High School Class of 1969, I send our sympathy and thoughts to Noreen and all of Paul's family. I know he will be missed by many.

Cousin Tom has been gone for a year and 7 months and know the terrible loss and hole a special loved one leaves in our lives. My prayers are with you all.
Just know that Tom would have given his condolences to Uncle Als' sons' family ( one of our favorite people was Uncle Al ) same humor and kindness spoken of about Paul .. in fact I am still living at 131 E. 17th street where you all lived after coming to MN in the original Chiaravalle home.
(I treasure the link to your family ) sincerely,

My cousin Paul was always smiling & just a happy individual, distance across the miles between us, but we kept in contact thru email, very seldom did a day pass that I didn't see a note or a joke of the day from him. My sincere sympathy goes out to Noreen & Family. Love & prayers we send.

I was just a teen when I met Uncle Paul, when Bob and I first started dating. Uncle Paul was one of the very first people in my life that just sort of took me in to the family, no questions asked, no judgment. He was so damn funny and warm I just felt comforted when near him. I agree with my husband that he was quite a hero. The nicest man to walk the planet. I will always remember and love you Uncle Paul!! Thanks for being an inspiration!

I can honestly count the hero's in my life on one hand. Actually, I looked up to my Uncle Paul more than anyone I can think of.... So now I'm just going to use one finger, (no Paul not that one..) let's call it a thumb instead of a finger or hand.... His inspiration is worth far more than just a thumbs up as anyone reading this knows.
I was still in the Navy when I first met Uncle Paul. we had lots to talk about but I think he liked me only because I could get him on the base to buy the blue jeans he loved so much.
He always had stories to tell about his time on the ship teasing the crew for their money to get whatever he needed at the time, and I believed every word of it. He knew how to get what he wanted.
Uncle Paul gave me direction when I didn't know I needed it, and in a way I didn't know he was giving it...
I smile when I think about him, and always will. He would want that.

He was an amazing man who set a standard for what a man is. Always with a laugh, a joke, a smile and a hug. Family was a priority. I will miss him so much.
