Paul McCoy Obituary

Paul Harvie McCoy was born February 12, 1939 in Seattle, WA - the third son of John Fielding McCoy and Eleanor Marie Harvie McCoy - joining his brothers John Jr. and Robert.

Paul graduated Marysville High School in 1958 alongside his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Annette Hovik. They were married February 14, 1960.

Paul began his truck driving career in 1962 with Vern Hild & Sons Excavating and Road Building. For 40 years after that, Paul and Phyllis owned and operated their own logging trucks.

Paul and Phyllis were blessed with two sons - Douglas and Tyler, five grandchildren - Langlie, Kendall, Ahnna, Brady and Josef, and one great-granddaughter, Marley.

Paul was extremely hardworking, the biggest jokester, a fantastic chef, and the most loving son, brother, friend, husband, father, and grandpa. He was so loved and will be greatly missed.

Paul's celebration of life open house will be held on Sept. 28 from 1-4 PM at 6830 Bayview Dr NW in Spee-Bi-Dah.

We were so saddened to hear of Paul´s passing. He was such a fun loving man, kind and was ready to lend an hand when asked. He was so good to Phyllis and always looked at her with so much love. They were a "matched set." We will miss Paul terribly. We didn´t see them as much as we all aged but it was always fun times when did.
