A truly wonderful man, and Father-in-law, along with his wife, Agnes, a wonderful woman and Mother-in-law. Many special memories of family times, dinner's, watching "Mash". Each so kind, considerate and supportive. I think fondly of them both these many years later. They were very special people. And while our hearts suffer, we should take comfort in knowing that Bob and Agnes are together again, in the presence of Christ. I sincerely hope to see them again one day. Till then I cherish my memories of who they were...who they still are. May God Bless them. My sincere condolences to each of their family members.

Bob Amberson was one of the most gentle natured congenial men I have ever known. My sincere sympathies to his family. May he rest in the comfort of our Lord and Savior.

I had Mr. Amberson as a history teacher in Snohomish. He said to me once, "History isn't dumb! How do you know where you're going, if you don't know where you've been?"... That sparked a hobby of learning history for the rest of my life! He was an amazing teacher... Peace be with his family and friends...

My condolences on the passing of your father. Mr. Amberson was my principal at Machias elementary, where I am sure my antics on the school bus caused him much distress, and also my eighth grade history teacher at Snohomish Jr, High a few years later. In both roles, he was always kind, caring and had a great deal of patience. He made the world a better place and I still use and benefit from the things he taught me everyday.

The Ambersons were our best Everett neighbors. Bob was such a kind and congenial man. Sorry for your loss.
