Robert Hegamin Obituary

Robert "Bob" H. Hegamin, Sr. Born December 28, 1926, in Shanghai, China. He died on January 2, 2017, in Edmonds, WA, one day after a joyous celebration of his 90th birthday with family and friends. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948-1952. He attended Columbia University in New York and was a graduate of Seattle University. He worked at Jet Propulsion Lab where he was involved with the Lunar Orbiter Project, Boeing, and for Seattle City Light as an Electrical Engineer from which he retired after more than 20 years in 1989. Bob is survived by his wife, Deborah; six great kids: sons, Robert Jr. (Carol) of Kent, WA, and Milo of Edmonds; his daughters, Lauren McClure of Lynnwood, WA, Mai (Roger) Moller of Bothell, WA, Michaela (Michael) Jackson of Kent, and Myava (Steve) Kinner of Edmonds; 14 grandkids and eight great grandkids. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday January 11, 2017 at Beck's Tribute Center, 405 Fifth Ave. S in Edmonds.
