Roger was one of first clients my wife met when she first began her career as a caregiver in the US, he was always so kind and understanding. Many times when I came to pick her up from her shift, he would invite me in to talk, He treated everyone like family, and was somebody you could talk to about anything. Although the time we knew him was too short, he left an impact on me and yaya that will last forever. Thank you for being a great friend to yaya and I, and my greatest condolences to the Hots family, Roger was one of a kind.

He told me l can be your best friend because l got here only 8 months from China and married my husband l felt so lonely without any relatives he said he felt lonely too Last time l saw him on his birthday, l brought a cake for him with my husband. He was so happy, l am glad l accompanied with him on his birthday, after that l was assigned to other clients. I had good memories about him and will remember him forever

So very sorry for your loss. After my father (Steve Casella) passed away in 1977, Roger stopped by the garage sale I was having and told me that the B&M Foods store where they both worked at (Roger as Manager and my dad as Produce Manager) said the store borrowed enough money from my dad to make payroll one time! We lived in a great neighborhood back then and we all knew who are neighbors were. As they say in Hawaiian... A Hui Ho...

Lifelong memories that are hard to beat. He, and you, were members of our family just as we were of yours. What a great neighborhood to be a part of. We will miss him, but he, and all of you, will always be a part of us. Love and blessings to the family. I know story time will follow. See you then.

Thinking of all the family the best memories I have were at Verlot, my husband pushing Roger in a wheelbarrow from their cabin to our place, Roger was holding his ice chest with his favorite beverage that was a very long time agohugs to everyone at this difficult time
