Sadie Anna (McCrea) Weeks

Loving wife and Mother

Sadie, at the age of 87, went to be with Our Lord on April 24, 2013. She was born in Roundup, Montana on June 6, 1925 to John W. and Jessie M. McCrea. At the age of six her family moved to Washington. Along with her two sisters, Phyllis Cooper and Shirley Koonz, she grew up in Lake Forest Park.
Sadie graduated from Roosevelt High School and worked at Western Union during WWII. On December 14, 1945 she married the love of her life Everett N. Weeks. They were married for 54 years and lived in Everett for 49 years before moving out to the Smokey Point area.
She enjoyed camping and visiting different states. She loved doing things with her church friends as well as serving others and attending social activities. Many neighbors and friends enjoyed visiting with her. She was fun to be with and those who knew her will really miss her. She was
a loving and caring wife,
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
She leaves behind her five children and their spouses, Richard and Janet Weeks, Vicki and Bob
Morrison, Bradley and Helen Weeks, Leslie and Michael Pokswinski, Douglas and Paula Weeks. She also leaves 10 of the 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, phyllis Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. She loved them all dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband,
Everett Weeks; sister,
Shirley Koonz; and grandson, Ryan Weeks.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Smokey Point
Community Church, 17721 Smokey Point Blvd, Arlington, WA. Interment following at 3:00 p.m. at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA.
In Lieu of flowers you
may make contributions to Smokey Point Community Church or charity of your choice.

So sorry about your loss. Sadie was so kind and loving to everyone. Sadie and Everett reunited in heaven! They were both such good Godly examples to me when I was growing up as my Sunday school teachers and leaders in our church. I think of them often.
