Sally went peacefully to be with the Lord on February 17th. She was 67 years old. She was born on June 22nd, 1955 to Max and Patricia Oshie. She was one of five siblings. They are Pat (Shelly), Mike (Nancy), Beth (Brad), and Jim (Yong). Sally was the mother of five children, Jason (Sona), Josh (Geany), Melissa (Chris), Jeff, and Kelli. She was also grandmother to eight, Rylee, Nayomi, Lia, Joshua, Kailah, Kahleel, Luke, and Colin.
The two things that Sally loved the most in her life were being a mother and a grandmother. She was so proud of her children. Nothing made her happier than seeing her family together. She loved family gatherings, where we would tell stories, laugh a lot, and have fun being around each other. Sally's grandchildren were the light of her life. She adored them and they loved her. Sally will be missed tremendously by her family.
Sally had a 50-year career in nursing, caring for patients in our community at skilled nursing facilities, clinics, and home health.
The funeral mass will be at the Chapel of Our Lady of Hope (2617 Cedar St) on Monday, March 20th at 11 am, followed by a reception at Mattie Hall (2517 Hoyt Ave).
