Sherry Parks Obituary

On the morning of December 26th, Sherry Fay Parks passed away peacefully at the age of 89. She was born to Claude & Fay Squires. Sherry grew up in Yakima Washington. She had a sister Claudia & brother Vance. Sherry graduated from St. Joseph High School. She moved to Seattle and went to work at Sea-First Bank. Sherry met and married Elmer Parks in 1956. They had three children, Pamela, James (Kelly) and Lisa (Scott) Ruiz. She worked in banking and being a housewife. Sherry loved being around family and friends. They enjoyed many fun years in Arizona, sporting events and summer at their lake house. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, husband and daughter Pamela. She is survived by her two children, four grandchildren (Mitchell, Jamie, Tony and Michelle) & five great-grandchildren. Sherry will be greatly missed by her family & friends. There will be a celebration of life in April.
