Tamara L. Weiss
Tamara Lee Weiss passed away October 15, 2004.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 27 years, John; and daughter, Larissa.
During her nine year battle with cancer she showed a remarkable and unwavering optimism that was an exemplary source of encouragement for her care givers, her family and all others who knew her. In collaboration with her nephew Schulyer Servine, she produced a video tribute to her doctor who had extended her life and others of a unique group of cancer patients. Tammy will be remembered as a happy, loving wife and mother, and to her family and friends, someone with unlimited empathy for others. She was adept at initiating conversation with just about anyone. Her business skills were a key to the success of John's sign business. Tammy was a very devout Christian. Her spirituality was a guide throughout her life. In prayer she sought her Heavenly Father's guidance in all matters. Her interests were many. She was an avid photographer and had begun taking classes in video production. A source of joy during the last couple years of her life were times with John and Larissa on trips aboard their boat. John's unwavering support of Tammy's care and Larissa's unselfish help to her mother are an inspiration to Tammy's family and friends.
Tammy was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Francis Servine.
Tammy was born September 26, 1957 in Rawlins, Wyoming. Her parents are David and Sylvia Servine, Donna Henningsen, Roy, UT and Calvin Henningsen of California; sisters Carole Zirkle, Melissa Servine, Leslie Servine and Sheri Van Orden; half-sisters Susan Henningsen, Roxanne Monlux, and Julie Watkins; half brothers Dirk, Curt, Craig and Norman Henningsen. She was loved by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Aunt Esther Servine held a special place throughout her life.
