Timothy Alan Thornton, 58, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends in Mount Vernon, WA. Born in Everett, WA to Lyman and Marjorie Thornton, Tim grew up in Everett and graduated from Cascade High School class of 1981.
Tim was a natural athlete, loved playing croquet and pinochle with his family, playing bocce ball on the beach and live music. He was a hopeless romantic, and a "give you the shirt off his back" kind of guy. Tim had a smile you could not help but love, and a fun-loving sense of humor, always quick with a hug and a love you.

Missing you Tim. Was great getting back together when you brought the family up to my property at Lake Tyee. I had the pleasure of grade school, middle school and growling up the his neighborhood with him. Smiles and laughs. Blessings to your family, you are missed.

Tim was the best supervisor one could ask for. I enjoyed every day I was able to come in and work side by side with him. I will forever hold those memories dear amd will cherish them as much as he did life.

I worked with Tim at Walt's milk house when Tim was in high school. I remember his sense of humor. He always made it fun to work with. Even though I haven't seen Tim for many years, he was one guy I would never forget. RIP Tim.

I’m so sorry to hear Tim passed. He fought a gallant battle. He was always so friendly, cracking jokes and keeping everyone smiling. May his spirit soar high, and may all your good memories bring his family peace.
