I just found out about his passing, and I doubt anyone will read this, but I just want to say that I knew Bill as a lobbyist in Olympia and I always appreciated his positive attitude, his intelligence, and his ability to talk about things other than politics. He did not seem particularly ambitious, but he's the kind of person who would have made a good Governor or Congressman.
