Arthur S. Flores

Arthur S. Flores, 80,of Fall River and Hobe Sound, FL, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. He owned and operated the former A Towing for many years and was previously employed by the Registry of Motor Vehicles Marine Division, and as a Correctional Officer at MCI-Norfolk. Arthur served on the board of directors for the Marine Museum and the John Boyd Center. He was a member the Fall River Board of Election Commissioners, the Friends of Heritage State Park, the Liberal Club and the Amvets Post 14, Hobe Sound. He was the first Fall River Harbormaster and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He leaves a son, John S. Flores and his wife Paula, a devoted companion, Dolores Silvia; three grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer and Jessica Flores; 3 great-grandchildren, Skyla Flores, Brooklynn and Victoria Bento, all of Fall River; a sister, Eileen Arruda of Portsmouth; a former wife, Barbara (Dias) Flores and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late J.David Flores and the son of the late John S. and Inez Flores. His funeral mass will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd. Fall River.
