Arthur A. Laroche

Arthur A. Laroche, 92, of Fall River, a former employee of Sterling Pile Fabrics and Duro Finishing Co., husband of the late Alice (Chace) Laroche, entered into rest Tuesday, November 8, 2016. An Army Air Corps veteran of WW II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking, cowboy hats, and playing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed sitting at McDonald's with his friends. He leaves two children, Dr. Robert A. Laroche and his wife Deborah of San Antonio, Texas and Jane Pereira of Fall River; a son-in-law, Kenneth Pereira of Somerset; grandchildren, Amy Carr and her husband Michael, Cory Pereira and his wife Erin, Beth White and her husband Colter and Dana Tilton and her husband Matt; great-grandchildren, Emily Carr, Lauren Carr and Faith White; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph and Delvina (Savoie) Laroche; the brother of the late Lucien, Philip and Juliette Laroche, Florestine Moreau and Lena Correia; and the companion of the late Olive Siembab. His funeral will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Christ Church Cemetery, Swansea.
