Let me say that Charlie Assad is one of 10 most important people in my life. As a person and psychologist, there is no better. His expertise made a difference -- he always went beyond. His candid insights, high sense of responsibility, his authentic persona, his depth and clarity in understanding, his courage in truth, his teachings, his sense of humor -- a truly precious, beautiful human being. All that knew him were truly blessed. It is sad to say "adieu." It is fortunate to be able to say "thank you."

Charlie was a wonderful listener and told you what you needed to hear. He was a great help to me many years ago in a very stressful situation and I have never forgotten his kindness or his truthfulness.
