Domingos Ferreira, age 80, of Somerset, passed away on July 5, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Irene (Durand) Ferreira. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Domingos and Anna (Rapoza) Ferreira. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Along with his wife he is survived by his children Michelle Vauthrin of Riverside, RI., David Ferreira (wife Kimberlee) of Seekonk, Susan Raymond of Somerset and Matthew Ferreira (wife Rebecca) of Somerset; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Thomas Moore Church at 10 A.M. Cremation to follow. Calling hours on Monday from 4-7 P.M.
