Dr. Eduardo C. Leonardo

Dr. Eduardo C. Leonardo, 82, of Somerset, MA, born in Lima Peru, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the loving husband of forty nine years to Donna R. Leonardo and proud father of Eduardo David Leonardo (Elizabeth Oudens), Anthony Leonardo (Carrie Davis), Patrick Leonardo (Barb Vumbaco), and Daniel Leonardo (Cristel Bel) and grandfather to Alexa, Vanessa, Nicolas, Tomas, Olivia, and Marco. Dr. Leonardo proudly served the greater Fall River community for twenty three years as a pediatrician at Truesdale Clinic and previously practiced for twenty four years in Lima, Peru. His medical career spanned five decades where he improved and saved the lives of many children. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 9 a.m. from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Avenue, Somerset, Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial will be private at the request of the family.
