My deepest sympathy goes out to Mrs. McGovern and the large McGovern family on the passing of their dear Son, Husband, Father, Brother , and friend. My family always shared a smile or comment on the wonderful meals from the McGovern's Restaurant, and I was fortunate to be friendly with Paul's mother, Pat McGovern. My mother and I shared many a Sunday dinner and Mrs McGovern always had a kind word for her. I will remember her and her daughters during this difficult time. He is with his dear Father now and looking down to comfort his family.

We have known Paul and some of the McGoverns for a very long time. We are shocked and saddened at the news of Paul's passing. It is a loss to the family and close friends, it is also a loss to the community. Paul was always so polite and respectful to us. Our heartfelt sympathy to all of the family. My sincere condolences to Paul's family and friends. His Dad started the family restaurant in North Tiverton where I would go with my Dad for coffee and grilled Danish in his small diner. Later I would have lunch in the families next location just over the State line in Fall River. I knew Paul from attending Rogers High School and recall him in the Voc Tech area looking professional already. You just knew his future was carved out for him. It was just too short. God Bless and keep him.
