Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mr. Arthur A. Bankhead, Jr. of 930 Rawlinson Rd. passed away Mon., Sept. 27, 2021 at Atrium Health Pineville. Graveside service will be 2pm Thurs. at Grandview Memorial Park-Hollis Lake. Viewing will be 5-7pm Wed. at Faith Funeral Service of York.

Junior was a loving person, engaged in Christian activity through his music and warm personality. The oldest son of Rev. Arthur Bankhead, he stood tall in support of his family in worship and service.

Arthur and Wanda were our neighbors on Sylvia circle. They proved to be not only good neighbors but good friends. May God continue to strengthen and confront the Bankhead family doing this difficult time. We will miss seeing Arthur from time to time.

I met Arthur when I was a musician at St John Baptist Church in Sharon, SC and he was learning to play the keyboard. He grew into a talented musician and he could sing too. My condolences to the family

Brother Bankhead will truly be missed. My condolences to his family. May the peace of God keep you. I enjoyed playing my bass guitar with Arthur and my brother, Ray. Arthur also drove the school bus for my grandchildren. He will be missed. He served the community well.
