Bobby Rawls Obituary
Mr. Rawls was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Dale Earnhardt fan. He was a devoted Christian man and a faithful and compassionate witness for Christ. Mr. Rawls was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Family members include his daughters: Sherry Ann Downey and husband Dr. Paul Downey, Ellen Bashaw and husband SFC Jim Bashaw, Ret., Carole Plyler and husband SSG Gary Plyler, Ret., son: CW2 Bobby G. Rawls, Jr. and wife Randi; sister: Martha Oates; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held for the family and friends on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Grandview Memorial Park in Rock Hill, SC.
Memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Hospice, 4325 Washington Rd, Suite 103, Evans, GA 30809.

Our family has been saddened by the loss of our sweet neighbor and friend of the past 1-2 years. The tough transition of moving away from our friends and family in another state was easier to bear with Bobby's smiles, waves, talks, and hugs. He was a good friend, and we kept a watchful eye out for each other. Bobby generously gave our children permission to play in his yard and ride their scooters and bikes in his driveway. Our youngest was especially close to him. We miss him very much, but know this time is even harder for his family who loves him so. You are all in our prayers for peace and comfort. We rejoice in knowing that he is in the presence of our Savior, and is reunited with his precious wife.

Martha , Patti , Sherry , Ellen and Carole , it appears the Rawls clan is fading away. Just wanted to let you know I will be thinking about you all tomorrow. I made it to Phyllis' funeral but I cannot deal with a funeral so soon after my mom's. I know you understand.
