Lewis, Mishell & family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and I pray that God will comfort you during this very difficult time. Brenda was a very sweet and caring person. She will truly be missed in the neighborhood. She would always have a smile and something nice to say when they would stop by on the golf cart. I will also miss her famous macaroni salad. Being the sweet woman that she was, she would make some just for me and let everyone know that this was "Donna's". Thank you Brenda! Rest in peace my friend.

So many people intersect our life's pathway through the years. I am so thankful that her pathway intersected with mine. She was a great friend over the years that I worked with at Okuma and I will truly miss her sweet and caring soul...my heart felt sympathy goes out to Lewis and his family at this time of sorrow...she will be missed by so many.

Oh! Seeing this obituary makes me so sad. In the brief time my husband and I spoke with Ms. Asbury and her family, we exchanged quite a few smiles and laughs, which was something that everyone greatly needed. She was a very brave lady with a beautiful family. May God be with you all.

Brenda will very much be missed at Okuma. She was the lone lady in Shipping & Receiving a challenge in itself. Many of us appreciated her speedy service and organization. My prayers are with her family and friends at this time.

My condolences to the Asbury Family. Working w/Brenda was such a pleasure and so glad I had that opportunity. I did the Cancer walk annually and proudly wore her name as a survivor and I will continue to honor her, each year. May the peace of God that passes all understanding be with you.
