Rock Hill, South Carolina - Carl Michael Lewis, 71, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, went to meet Jesus on September 3rd, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 26th, 1950 in Charlotte, NC to Henry Benjamin Lewis and Virginia Pendleton Lewis.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Lewis, sister in law, Chris Lewis, and a grandmother, Maxie Pendleton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Laura Lewis of the home, brother Steve Lewis(Brenda), an aunt, Faye Lewis, sister in law, Laurie Strit, multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, and his sweet dog, Bear.
Mr. Lewis was a retired truck driver of 48 years, He was an active Mason, Shriner, Scottish Rites, and York Rites. He was devoted to helping his community. Mr. Lewis was also a faithful member of Antioch United Methodist Church where he and his wife attended. In addition to all his accomplishments, he was very well known in the community as "Santa Claus" and took a lot of pride in it,
Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home of Rock Hill, SC is serving the Lewis family.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or Antioch United Methodist Church of Rock Hill, SC
