Rock Hill, South Carolina - Connie Estes Elkin, 75, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at the Rock Hill Grove Senior Living facility.
Connie was born on January 24, 1948, to Elliott Estes and Betty Sue Cloninger Estes, in Rock Hill, SC. During her life, she was a homemaker who thrived as a master gardener. In her free time, she loved to shop, read, laugh, and socialize. She loved all kinds of animals but especially dogs. She was a member of the Rock Hill Shag Club and the Moose Lodge. Connie loved her family very much and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her niece, Amber Leimone (Mike) and their children, Lucas and Avery; her uncle, Harold Cloninger, her aunt, Jean Robinson, and numerous cousins.
Mrs. Elkin was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott Estes and Betty Sue Cloninger Rice; her husband, John Julius Elkin, Jr; her son, John Alexander "Alex" Elkin; and her sister, Debi Osborne.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Mrs. Elkin at a later date.
