Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mrs. Darlene Holbrook, 64, of Rock Hill, South Carolina passed away Monday, September 19th, 2022 at Rock Hill Post Acute Care Center.
Darlene loved her family and going to church. She also enjoyed horseback riding, bird watching, spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and coloring.
Born February 25, 1958 in Rochester, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Towle) Edgerly and the late Horace Dorr. Darlene leaves behind her husband of 30 years, David Holbrook; a daughter, Crystal Ganus Carroll (Tim Carroll) of Rock Hill, SC; five step-children, Jeff Strout (Bliss) of Camden, Maine, Ben Holbrook of Texas, Paul Holbrook of New York, Tanya Holbrook of Portland, Maine, Eric Holbrook of South Portland, Maine; five grandchildren, Mitchell Carroll, Aaron Ganus, Macy Carroll, Ella Ganus, and Elijah Holbrook. She leaves behind two sisters, Donna Howard (John Howard) of Rochester, NH, and Pamela McGeathy (Mack McGeathy) of Farmington, NH. In addition to her father, Darlene was preceded in death by her brother Jeffrey Dorr.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 6:30 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 830 N. Jones Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29730 with Pastor Roger Brown, officiating.
Special Care provided by Greene Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Rock Hill, SC.
