CHESTER - Mr. David Paul Brentlinger, 70, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at his home.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Chester ARP Church, with the Rev. Clint Davis officiating. Interment will be on Monday, April 9, 2012, in Pinkston Cemetery, Whitehouse, Fla.
Mr. Brentlinger was born in Whitehouse, Ohio, on Sept. 26, 1941, and was a son of the late Lawrence Lee Brentlinger and Nellie June Boehm Brentlinger. He was a graduate of Anthony Wayne High School in Whitehouse, Ohio, and earned his Associate’s Degree from Ohio State University. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Morning Star Ministries. He attended Chester ARP Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Whitehead Brentlinger; four daughters, Andrea Lynn Woverton and husband, John, of Cherokee Village, Ark., Lynn Susan Savell and husband, Nicklos, of Hardey, Ark., Frances Elaine Schipper and husband, Edward of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Marie Annette Sisk of Chester; 13 grandchildren; and one sister, Laurie Annette Marteny of Tampa, Fla.
Memorials may be made to Chester ARP Church, 159 Main St., Chester, SC 29706 or to Regency Hospice, 420 S. Herlong Ave., Ste. 102, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
