Dear Sue and family,
I got a copy of your letter from Aunt Marjorie. I send my prayers, love and condolences for David. I remember visiting your house when you had just finished an addition just for him. I'm sure he was just as sweet a man as he was as a child. You have had a very hard year, I hope that 2011 is an easier year for you and yours. Peace in Christ.

I was so saddened to hear of David's passing. My brother, Robbie, shared a home at Arrowood with David for a number of years. Despite his physical limitations, David's joyful personality always stood out to me. May he be having a ball in heaven without the physical limitations he had on earth. My thoughts are with all of you.

Dear Sue, Baron and Lentz Family,

We were so saddened to hear of David's death. He was a special young man who's spirit was strong. Like our son he lived with challenges, but always wore a smile. I know he will not only be missed by his family, but also by everyone who ever worked with him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time.

My Dear Lentz Family,
I worked with David at Midlands Center quite a few years ago. He was most charming and always appreciated a good joke or some funny prank. David was heroic, facing his challenges with courage and dignity. He loved his family and all those with whom he came in contact. His family was his strength and, I know, he is still quite proud of all of you. I considered it a great priviledge to know him and a blessing to be a part of his life.
Lovingly,
Mary Doyle Hopkins

He was a special young man who taught me to be compassionate to those with disabilities and not dream a dream, but live it. David is my inspiration. I am happy that he is with his loving grandparents now and able to roam freely at peace.
