Edward Ustik Obituary

Edward John Ustik, 78 passed away, March 19, 2017, after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Sharon, PA in 1938 and lived in South Florida most of his life. He served for many years in the US Army Reserve. He owned and operated a laundry and dry-cleaning business and retired from Phenix Supply Company after 28 years of service, then settled in Ft. Mill, S.C. He was always grateful to the donor, donor's family and the surgical team that gave him over seven years of life due to a heart transplant in 2009. Surviving to cherish Ed's memory are his beloved wife Paula, his children Mark Ustik, Dr. Denise Hoffecker, Alesia Ustik, Shari-Ann Robertson and their spouses, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Marshall and Martha Robrecht, and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial service was held at Palmetto Funeral Home in Ft. Mill, S.C. The family suggests making memorial contributions to the Levine Cancer Institute, Charlotte, N.C.
