George Hanlon Obituary
Mr. Hanlon was born in Chicago, Il and a son of the late Lawrence and Irene Hanlon. Mr. Hanlon was a member of Lake Wylie Lutheran Church and a warehouse manager for the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of Via De Cristo and a U. S. Army veteran. Mr. Hanlon enjoyed time on his boat and loved all animals, especially dogs. He never met a stranger. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hanlon was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Hanlon.
A Celebration of Life and a gathering of family and friends will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church, 2906 Highway 160 West, Fort Mill, SC.
Mr. Hanlon is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Joe Simmons; and his grandchildren, Carrie (Joey) Abig and Will Simmons.

Family of George,
We were very sorry to hear of his passing.Now he is out of pain,in spirit ,back with his wife and in the Fathers hands. We'll miss the boating days and stories at The Lake Club . He loved and was very proud of his family.
