Memories and Condolences

Not sure what to say?

Extending my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to my friend Rose McCoy and their children. I will miss seeing George and Rose together whenever I and my late husband would run into them at various places around town. George always had the same kind smile and always had kind words to say. George would always remind me that we were classmates, graduating in 1975 from Rock Hill High School. I knew George from childhood and the Porter Road neighborhood when we went to Elementary school and later meeting back up in High School. I enjoyed seeing them together because they were a perfect example of a beautiful couple and a beautiful marriage. I will surely miss seeing Rev. George McCoy whenever I see Rose. I know that George was a true man of God. The church family as well as Rev. McCoy's wife and children shall be comforted and find strength in the Lord, knowing that they are in all of our thoughts and prayers.

I have known George McCoy for a very long period of time. We were church family. We both sung on the choir together . He was a quiet fellow. But he overcame that and got his true calling. And began to preach the word of GOD.He was always saying kind words and encouraging words. I know that he will be greatly missed. An angel has gotten his wings and he's in his father's house with family and friends . If something was troubling me I would call him and he would listen and give me great advice and that I will truly miss. I'm praying for his wife and children and the rest of his family. They were a close knit family snd still is. I'm praying that each and everyone of you that GOD will wrap his arms around you in your time of sorrow and bereavement. And if I can be of service don't hesitate to give me a call. I love each and every one of you. Praying that you keep his memories alive in your hearts and remember the good times. Praying for the family. Sending hugs love and prayers
