Sharon, South Carolina - Harold Thomas Edington, Jr., 52, of Sharon, SC passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Reverend David Brannen officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
Harold was born on January 4, 1969 in Charlotte, NC. He was the son of Harold Thomas Edington, Sr. and Diane Morris Edington. He worked as a receiving coordinator at Eaton Corporation in Kings Mountain, NC and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Sharon, SC. Harold loved to spend his time hunting and fishing, but his true love was that for his family. Harold was a family man.
In addition to his parents, Harold is survived by his wife, Tammy Annette Sigmon Edington, children: Stephanie Brooke Edington, Chase Thomas Edington, Luke Augustus Edington, Matthew Dillon Edington, Tyler Scott Hefner, Shawn Douglas Hefner, and Joshua Kyle Hefner; grandchildren. Carter Edington, Houston Benfield, and brothers, Billy Edington (Mindy), Jamie Edington (Lori), Kevin Edington (Alicia).
Harold was preceded in death by his son, Harold Thomas Edington, III and his cousin, Rex Edington.
In memory of Harold T. Edington, Jr. memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, 4455 Hoodtown Rd. Sharon, SC 29742.
