I was a patient of Dr. Bergam. He was the best Dr. I ever had. This is so heartbreaking. I think of him often. Seen him in the grocery store not long ago and gave him a hug. I was in the hospital once and he came to see me. I loved him. Prayers for all

I just read about Jim in the Charleston Gazette and wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to the family. I graduated from Stonewall Jackson with both Jim and Jean, but haven't seen them in years. Seeing his picture brought back many good memories of those high school years. I'm thankful that they had a wonderful life together.

Dr Bergman was a wonderful doctor. He was our family doctor after we moved to Fort Mill in the 80's and remained so until his retirement.

Jim was a neighbor and Stonewall Jackson High school, Charleston, West Virginia, classmate of mine. He came from a good family and they were all such wonderful people. Jim will always be remembered for his wonderful friendship. The last time I saw him and his wife Jean, (also a classmate), was at the 2015 Stonewall Jackson High school 50 year reunion, in Charleston, West Virginia. We have lost two wonderful people, and Jim will be missed by all his friends and family, and all who's lives he touched over the years
