Pop was my grandfather for nearly fifty years. When I think of him I remember many happy memories from eating Special K for breakfast, hiding Easter eggs, swimming in the ocean and getting to draw at his massive drafting table. He gave up one of his birthdays to attend my wedding. He was a great example of what a father, grandfather, and a husband should be. He was kind and generous and fun-loving-always willing to take you down the waterslide. He and my grandmother (Earline) are missed very much. Much love and my condolences to my Mom, my sisters, my aunts and cousins.

Linda, Kathy and Cindy, I know it has been a very long time since we last saw each other. I just want to express my condolences to you and your families.
James was always so kind and such a gentleman. He and your mother were both such very sweet and lovely people. (Earline and I were first cousins.)
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Linda, Kathy, Cindy, and all the members of your family: You have our deepest sympathy. My wife and I have so many great memories of Jim and Earline from White Street. I have so many fond memories of Jim working with the R.A's and teaching Sunday School. Jim was a leader not only in the church, but in the way he lived out his life. Thank you for sharing Jim with us for all of those years. We love and pray for each of you during this time. May our Lord and Savior grant you His peace in the days ahead.
