Jerry M. Harper ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mrs. Jerry Mundy Harper, 89, of Rock Hill, died Monday, August 24, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Oakland Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Harper and Dr. Robert Shrum officiating. Born in Washington, D.C., Mrs. Harper was the daughter of the late Henry C. Mundy and Mabel Elizabeth Costner Mundy. She was married to the late John Wilton Harper Sr. for over 50 years. She was very involved in various ministries and was a Sunday school teacher at Oakland Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Rock Hill. She retired from Smith & Stevenson after 50 years and loved gardening. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Lombardi (Francis) of Anderson, S.C.; sons, John Wilton Harper Jr. (Marjorie) of Gastonia, N.C. and Dr. Larry Harper (Angelia) of Swansboro, N.C.; grandchildren, Amandia Plumlee, Justyn Harper, CJ Harper and Danielle Lombardi and six great-grandchildren.
