Larry Erwin Obituary

Larry Hunt Erwin, Jr.
March 11, 1974 - September 12, 2021
Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mr. Larry Hunt Erwin, Jr, 47, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2021.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 18, 1:00 pm at West End Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Demby officiating.
Hunt was a native of Rock Hill, SC and the son of Larry Hunt Erwin, Sr. and Cecille Baldwin Erwin. He graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1993 where he played basketball. He continued the game at Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, AL and returned to his hometown, where he started a successful paintless dent removal business - Dent Out, LLC.
Hunt was known as a true family man. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Family meant everything to him. Hunt had a huge heart and reached out to those in need. He was always searching to improve opportunities for the youth of Rock Hill. He had an infectious personality and didn't know a stranger. He was passionate about sports, spending time with family and friends, Clemson Football and visiting his "Happy Place", Hunt Farm, in Brevard, NC.
In addition to his parents, Hunt is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Kamilla Vargova Erwin, their children, Daniel Hunt Erwin, Anna Milana Erwin, and Kaden Hunt Erwin; sisters Wendy Erwin Rivers and her children, Steven Charles Rivers and Gabriel Lawrence Rivers; Penny Erwin Premak, her husband, Garth Premak and her children, William Hunt Oriani, Griffin Hagood Oriani and Jonathan Cole Oriani, all of Charleston, SC.
Hunt's nickname was Hero, which was inspired by the song "Holding Out For A Hero" sung by Bonnie Tyler. "He's gotta be sure and he's gotta be strong and he's gotta be larger than life."
Hunt was a true Hero.
Memorials may be made in Hunt's name to Miracle Park, The York Disability Foundation, PO Box 37021, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

RIP HERO! Our brother, our family, our true friend. No words can express the feelings that we are encountering at this moment, b/c no one will ever be able to replace you, my OG! You were always in our corner even when the chips were down. "It´s been a long day without you, my friend And I´ll tell you all about it when we see you again. And that bond will never be broken, the love will never get lost." We love you forever and always.
