Marilyn Storseth Obituary

Our dear mother Marilyn Helen (Boyd) Storseth sadly passed away in Arlington, WA on August 5, 2025, at the age of 79. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her, offering support, gardening tips, and love. She was born in Seattle in 1946 and was a long-time resident of Everett, WA who dedicated her career to the City of Everett. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Storseth, her parents Marion and Marguerite (Taylor) Boyd, and her sister Diane (Boyd) White. She leaves behind her beloved cat Herbie, brother Michael Boyd, children Douglas Long, Michelle (Long) Tomyn, Jason Long, Julia Long, Jeremy Storseth, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will forever be missed and in our hearts. A private service will be held for close family and friends to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity supporting environmental conservation.
