Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mr. Matthew David Baird, 36, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with Rev. Anthony Hodge officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 am-10:30 am.
Born in Port Charlotte, FL, Mr. Baird was the son of the late Charles Richard Baird and the late Judy Williams Baird. He was currently employed with Precision Protective and Security Services. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed hunting, Clemson football and going to the mountains. He was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 14 years, Heather Stewart Baird; his son, Josh Baird; his daughter, Rachel Baird; his sister, Heather (Jamie) Barker; and his brother, Brian Baird.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Baird's name to Antioch United Methodist Church, 930 W. Rambo Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29730.

As a member of Antioch, we thought a lot of Matt and will miss our Clemson vs Carolina rivalry on Sunday morning after games. We will miss that smile and we will pray for Heather and Joshua and Rachel to stay strong and I know he will be watching over you all. Karen and Zack Willson

I´m Joshua his son I just want to say this hurt me to see my one and only dad pass on but I know he is in heaven with Jesus and he is resting in the kingdom of god he was a good father and he never failed I hope he sees this I love you dad
