Sheila

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I remember many weekends playing at your house on Hope Street. I can still picture her there at that house. She will be missed; after all these years I still miss mine.

Shelia,

Your family is part of my early childhood memories of Hope Street. I remember playing at your house and your mom always made me feel comfortable to be there. She was always laughing and smilng.

I know you will greatly miss your mom, just like I miss mine.

Nellie was a good friend. She was a wonderful nurse. She was respected by those who knew her. She worked as a relief nurse for us at Rock Hill Surgical Associates for several years after her retirement from the hospital.

I knew Nellie when I was growing up. She always had niece things to says about people. She was a true Christian. She loved to go to the beach, stop by farmers market and shell peas on the way back to Rock Hill.

She will surely be missed.

Sincerely, Andrea S. Ross

Mrs. Cameron was a dear friend to me. We worked together in the emergency room at York general Hospital in 1966. She was one of the references we used when we adopted Lisa, and she said she gave us a high score as prospective parents.

She gave me a little yellow outfit Becky wore the day we brought her home and she inturn put it on my first granddaughter the day we brought her home from the hospital. Becky was so jaundiced that her pediatrician told me to take "that yellow outfit" off her and I told him that was special because it came from Mrs. Cameron and it was staying on her.

Over the years we kept in touch at Christmas and I always looked forward to her notes. I'm sorry you have lost your mother and I have lost my friend here on this earth, but I have no doubt I will meet her again in heaven where she and her dear Johnny are waiting for us to join them. She missed him so much here on earth.

Thank you Jan, for calling me so that I can grieve along with you. She was so proud of you all and loved you dearly.
