Roddy Joseph Jr. ROCK HILL - Mr. Roddy Joseph Jr., 95, of 220 Pursley Street, Rock Hill, S.C., passed on January 18, 2015, at Agape Nursing Home in Rock Hill, S.C. He was born November 21, 1919, in York County to the late Roddy Joseph Sr. and Mary Durham Joseph. He worked for the City of Rock Hill. He was a member of Pineville AME Zion Chu-rch and served as leader of the Hymn Choir, Trustee Board, York Prayer Band and Pineville Church Aid Society. He is survived by his daughter and caregiver, Elisa Ann Bostic (Pastor Robert Bostic Jr.) of Charlotte, N.C.; sisters, Eliza Thompson and Mattie Steele, both of Newport, S.C.; brothers, Charles O. Joseph and Jessie Wise, both of Rock Hill, S.C.; 21 grandchildren, 43 great-gra-ndchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren; Pat and Tee Marshall, caregivers of Rock Hill, S.C. and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015, at Pineville AME Zion Church. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015, Pineville AME Zion Church. Burial will be at church cemetery. Parker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
